"ARMEGEDDON IT" BY PETE GARCIA FROM "THE OMEGA LETTER"!!

As the beloved, late Jack Kelley was often fond of saying, "I think people should get raptured according to their eschatological view".   Seems only fitting after all...at least the 'post-toasties' who think they can weather the storm of the 70th Week with an underground bunker and some survival gear can get their money's worth.  But I fear my prayers for eschatological-justice will most likely proceed no higher than my ceiling.  And much to their chagrin, all these vehemently anti-Pre-Trib Christian's are just going to have to settle for being Raptured prior to the start of the Tribulation, whether they like it or not.

I don't get what the attraction to this view is.  That goes for Pre-Wrath and Mid Trib views as well.  Any view that places the Church inside the seven year period known as Daniel's 70th Week, has some major eschatological and ecclesiological issues.  Jesus stated that this period of time would be the most horrifying in all of human history, (Matt. 24:21-22) and we have huge swaths of Christians today who think we are either already in it (but they can't say for sure when it started), or they think we have to go through it (because we deserve it).  The good thing about our God is that He is merciful beyond any human definitions of the word.  If we all got what we truly deserved, we'd all be doing head stands in the lake of fire.

"DECEIVING CAIRO AND HELPING ISIS - NOW HAMAS SETS GAZA ON COURSE FOR NEW TROUBLES" BY AVI ISSACHAROFF FROM "THE TIMES OF ISRAEL"!!

Deceiving Cairo and helping IS, Hamas sets Gaza on course for new troubles - By Avi Issacharoff -
http://www.timesofisrael.com/deceiving-cairo-and-helping-is-hamas-sets-gaza-on-course-for-new-troubles/

Hamas officials promised Egypt two months ago they'd end cooperation with IS fighters in Sinai. But Gaza's rulers have done nothing of the kind, and the repercussions could impact Israel

A few days ago, Hamas's security forces in Gaza arrested a group of Salafi activists - members of Salafiya Jihadiya, a movement made up of Islamist groups that identify mainly with Islamic State. The head of the group is the son of a well-known Salafi preacher from the Shahin family. Hamas officials claimed that the group was planning to cross Gaza's border into Sinai to join members of Islamic State in their fight against Egypt.

News of the arrests created the sense that Hamas was working to stop attempts by these Gazan activists to help Islamic State in its war against the Egyptian army. The arrests were presented as part of an impressive operation by Hamas, fulfilling promises its representatives made to Egypt during a visit to Cairo two months ago. At that time, amid escalating tension between Egypt and Hamas and accusations of close collaboration between Hamas's military wing and Walayat Sinai (Islamic State's branch in Sinai), the high-ranking Hamas delegates assured Egyptian officials that Hamas would end its relationship with Islamic State there and then.

Hamas has indeed since reinforced its troop deployment along the Gaza-Egypt border, and promised to stop all smuggling done via the tunnels there. The Salafi arrests thus provided further ostensible proof of the new Hamas commitment to Egypt's well-being. (Those arrests, in turn, prompted rocket fire at Israel two days ago, for which the Sheikh Omar Hadid Brigade, a Salafi group, claimed responsibility - a case of Israel being targeted by a Gaza terror group angry with Hamas.)

Yet there seems to be a wide gap between what senior Hamas officials are telling the Egyptians and what the heads of its military wing are actually doing on the ground. Despite the promises by Gaza's rulers to stop the smuggling to and from Sinai and the recent arrests, Hamas continues to maintain a delicate and complicated web of interests and alliances with Islamic State in Sinai.

According to an abundance of Arab, Israeli and Palestinian sources, wounded members of Islamic State are still being brought into Gaza for medical treatment at almost the same rate as before the Hamas delegation's visit to Cairo two months ago. Likewise, arms smuggling from the Gaza Strip to Sinai and vice versa continues, albeit at a reduced rate, supervised by members of Hamas's military wing. Overall, in short, it is largely business as usual.

When Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordechai, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), mentioned some of these facts in interviews on the Saudi Arabian news site Elaph two weeks ago, Hamas issued vigorous denials, of course. But other sources - not Israeli ones, but sources actually living in Gaza - confirm that over the past 10 months, dozens of Islamic State fighters have received medical treatment in the hospital in Khan Yunis, for example. This is astonishing considering Hamas's delicate relationship with Egypt.

The transfer of wounded Islamic State fighters is not the work of some low-ranking activist looking for a quick way to make money. It is a deliberate policy of Hamas that began in mid-2015. The Hamas official in charge of arranging medical treatment for Islamic State members is Mohammed Sutari, a well-known activist from the Khan Yunis refugee camp. This is the same place that produced the hard core of Hamas's military wing, including notorious terror chief Mohammed Deif and Yahya and Muhammad Sinwar.

This week the Elaph website, quoting a Palestinian source, published the name of one Islamic State fighter who is receiving medical treatment in Gaza. Maj. Gen. Mordechai named two more: Ibrahim Matar, who helps Sutari coordinate medical treatment for Islamic State members, and Said Abdelal, a Gazan from Rafah who is responsible for coordinating Islamic State's military activities (apparently training) in the Gaza Strip.

The most problematic factor for Cairo may be the smuggling of arms between Gaza and Sinai. There's been a dramatic reduction in the scope, but Hamas still manages to bring quantities of arms into the Gaza Strip and to move arms and ammunition from Gaza to Sinai. Constrained by Egypt's crackdown on the border tunnels, some of the smuggling has been done recently by sea.

In addition, despite those widely reported Salafi arrests, several former Hamas activists (whose ideology leans toward that of those same Salafist groups) have crossed the border in recent weeks to join the fighting in Sinai against the Egyptian army. The best-known case is that of Musa Abdallah el-Mor, a former member of Hamas's military wing whose family set up a mourning tent in Rafah after he was killed in Sinai while fighting against the Egyptian army there.

All of this cross-border activity takes place under the noses of Egyptian officials, who heard the promises of the Hamas senior officials and then watched in dismay over the past two months as Hamas, and especially its military wing, did as they pleased and kept up their relationship of interests with Islamic State.

Egypt's response to this, it must be said, shows a degree of confusion and perhaps a lack of clear strategy.

The Egyptians opened the Rafah border crossing briefly, for humanitarian reasons. At the same time, they allowed tons of concrete into the Gaza Strip when concrete and wood were in short supply there. They did this even though they knew that Hamas was using such materials to build tunnels, including tunnels that crossed into Sinai.

These might have been interpreted as goodwill gestures by Egypt, but Egyptian intelligence heads quickly realized that the likes of Deif and Yahya Sinwar were unmoved, and have no intention of ordering a complete halt to cooperation with Islamic State anytime soon. It is doubtful, then, that Cairo will again open the Rafah crossing for periods longer than just a day or two, even with Ramadan approaching.

In other words, almost two years after the 50-day Operation Protective Edge Israel-Hamas war, and despite several statements suggesting that relations between Cairo and Gaza might be about to improve, that's not happening.

Instead, the Gaza Strip is spiraling back to the dangerous routine of tension with Egypt and a humanitarian situation that is slowly but consistently deteriorating. One can only hope that we are not in for a rerun of the summer of 2014.

"THE EU REFERENDUM - A CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE" BY DAVID EVANS WHO IS A PASTOR FROM CARDIFF.

THE EU REFERENDUM – a Christian perspective By David Evans.

INTRODUCTION Many of us are wondering which way to vote in the forthcoming referendum on 23 June.  Should we remain in the European Union (EU) or leave it in the so-called Brexit?  The subject merits our attention.  This article is an attempt at examining the issues from a Christian world view.  THE FACTS? We are asked to consider matters that involve major corner-stones of our nation state.  These include choice in the allocation of finances; foreign investment, trade deals, employment and the control of legislative processes (EU law vs. UK law) as well as immigration control and the defence of our country. The discussion that is on-going comprises claim and counter-claim for which supporting facts often appear scant.  Depending on who is telling the story, we get a particular ‘spin’ on the various issues.   It reminds me of an old adage from Mark Twain: ‘There are lies, damned lies and statistics.’  If we are not able to get at the true facts our decision will be based on which protagonist’s delivery we dislike the least.  THE CHRISTIAN VIEW? Our task is to find a Christian standpoint amidst this cacophony.

I have just read the Evangelical Alliance’s position (or lack of position) statement.  They say the following: ‘…the Alliance takes no position on whether the UK should leave or remain.  Our position is only that Christians should engage fully in the debate and vote in the referendum – because the voice of evangelicals matters.’   They follow this objective with a series of pointers for us to consider but in reality we are left with little that is not available to the informed voter and subject to the limitations I have described above. The question remains: is there something that the Christian should be considering that would inform our conscience?  My examination focuses on the formation of the EU and its governance and values leading to an examination of some of the issues that are being debated from a Christian perspective.

MANKIND IS A MYSTERY TO THE ANGELS OF HEAVEN!! WHY?? HERE JACK KINSELLA FROM "THE OMEGA LETTER" OFFERS HIS INSIGHTFUL ANSWERS!!

Case Closed - Jack Kinsella - www.omegaletter.com

Mankind is a mystery to the angels.  The Bible says that God has charged them with ministering to men on this earth in this life with the understanding that men will judge them in the world to come.

One of the purposes for the creation of man, according to Scripture, was the instruction of angels.

"Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; WHICH THINGS THE ANGELS DESIRE TO LOOK INTO." (1st Peter 1:12)

The Prophet Isaiah introduces us to the first outbreak of sin in the universe when Lucifer, the most anointed of the angels, uttered the first of his five famous "I will's":

"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." (Isaiah 14:13)

For his sin of arrogance, God pronounced judgment on Lucifer, the most honored of His angels, and those rebellious angels who followed him;

"Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." (Isaiah 14:12-15)

I often wonder about the angels who joined Satan in his rebellion. Why? It isn't like they didn't know Who it was they were standing up to.

What made them so crazy?  Perhaps they felt God was being unjust in His dealing with Lucifer and in so doing, were also guilty of sin and cast out.

HERE IS THE AMAZING AMERICAN MILITARY RAILGUN SUPERWEAPON WHICH USES MAGNETIC PULSES TO FIRE AT 4500 MILES PER HOUR!!!

New post on Now The End Begins

Amazing U.S. Military Railgun Superweapon Uses Magnetic Pulses To Fire At 4,500 MPH

by Geoffrey Grider

A warning siren bellowed through the concrete bunker of a top-secret Naval facility where U.S. military engineers prepared to demonstrate a weapon for which there is little defense

Officials huddled at a video screen for a first look at a deadly new supergun that can fire a 25-pound projectile through seven steel plates and leave a 5-inch hole.
The weapon is called a railgun and requires neither gunpowder nor explosive. It is powered by electromagnetic rails that accelerate a hardened projectile to staggering velocity—a battlefield meteorite with the power to one day transform military strategy, say supporters, and keep the U.S. ahead of advancing Russian and Chinese weaponry.

High-Tech Railgun Promises New Military Advantage:

In conventional guns, a bullet begins losing acceleration moments after the gunpowder ignites. The railgun projectile gains more speed as it travels the length of a 32-foot barrel, exiting the muzzle at 4,500 miles an hour, or more than a mile a second.

“This is going to change the way we fight,” said U.S. Navy Adm. Mat Winter, the head of the Office of Naval Research.

The Navy developed the railgun as a potent offensive weapon to blow holes in enemy ships, destroy tanks and level terrorist camps. The weapon system has the attention of top Pentagon officials also interested in its potential to knock enemy missiles out of the sky more inexpensively and in greater numbers than current missile-defense systems—perhaps within a decade.
The future challenge for the U.S. military, in broad terms, is maintaining a global reach with declining numbers of Navy ships and land forces. Growing expenses and fixed budgets make it more difficult to maintain large forces in the right places to deter aggression.
“I can’t conceive of a future where we would replicate Cold War forces in Europe,” said Deputy Secretary of Defense Robert Work, one of the weapon’s chief boosters. “But I could conceive of a set of railguns that would be inexpensive but would have enormous deterrent value. They would have value against airplanes, missiles, tanks, almost anything.”
Inside the test bunker at Dahlgren, military officials turned to the video monitor showing the rectangular railgun barrel. Engineer Tom Boucher, program manager for the railgun in the Office of Naval Research, explained: “We are watching the system charge. We are taking power from the grid.”
Wires splay out the back of the railgun, which requires a power plant that generates 25 megawatts—enough electricity to power 18,750 homes.
The siren blared again, and the weapon fired. The video replay was slowed so officials could see aluminum shavings ignite in a fireball and the projectile emerge from its protective shell.
“This,” Mr. Boucher said, “is a thing of beauty going off.”
The railgun faces many technical barriers before it is battle ready. Policy makers also must weigh geopolitical questions. China and Russia see the railgun and other advances in U.S. missile defense as upending the world’s balance of power because it negates their own missile arsenals.

The railgun’s prospective military advantage has made the developing technology a priority of hackers in China and Russia, officials said.

Chinese hackers in particular have tried to penetrate the computer systems of the Pentagon and its defense contractors to probe railgun secrets, U.S. defense officials said. Pentagon officials declined to discuss the matter further.
The Navy began working on the railgun a decade ago and has spent more than half a billion dollars. The Pentagon’s Strategic Capabilities office is investing another $800 million—the largest share for any project—to develop the weapon’s defensive ability, as well as to adapt existing guns to fire the railgun’s high-tech projectiles.
Some officials expressed concern the technology has commanded too large a portion of resources and focus. “This better work,” one defense official said.
The age of the gun faded after World War II, hampered by the limited range and accuracy of gunpowder weapons. Missiles and jet fighters dominated the Cold War years, prompting the Navy to retire its big-gun battleships. The railgun—and its newly developed projectiles—could launch a new generation of the vessels.
“Part of the reason we moved away from big guns is the chemistry and the physics of getting the range,” said Jerry DeMuro, the chief executive of BAE Systems, a railgun developer. “The railgun can create the kind of massive effect you want without chemistry.”
The Navy’s current 6-inch guns have a range of 15 miles. The 16-inch guns of mothballed World War II-era battleships could fire a distance of 24 miles and penetrate 30 feet of concrete. In contrast, the railgun has a range of 125 miles, officials said, and five times the impact.
“Anytime you have a projectile screaming in at extremely high speeds—kilometers per second—the sheer kinetic energy of that projectile is awesome,” Mr. Work said. “There are not a lot of things that can stop it.”
Hitting a missile with a bullet—a technical obstacle that hampered Mr. Reagan’s initiative—remains a challenge. Railgun research leans heavily on commercial advances in supercomputing to aim and on smartphone technology to steer the railgun’s projectile using the Global Positioning System.
“Ten years ago, we wouldn’t have been able to build a projectile like this because the cellphone industry, the smartphone industry, hadn’t perfected the components,” said William Roper, the director of the Pentagon’s Strategic Capabilities Office. “It is a really smart bullet.”
Development of the railgun guidance system is about done, officials said, but circuits in the projectile must be hardened to withstand gravitational forces strong enough to turn most miniaturized electronics to scrap. source

There is little hope for America with politics. The foundation of the nation comes from God and his people in prayer. There can be a short-term victory through politics, but in the long run, the wickedness of America will make the nation like Sodom and bring judgment on it. America needs God's people on their knees in revival for survival! The future of the nation can be foreseen by the prayer and life of the Church.
