USA PILOTS: OBAMA BLOCKS 75% OF ISIS STRIKES: USA President Obama has given military pilots an impossible task: Wage a successful air war against an enemy hiding among civilians – without killing a single civilian. Pilots who have returned from deployments say Obama refuses to permit airstrikes 75% of the time against the ISIS group.
Jack Keane, a retired four-star USA general, said Obama demanded Air Force officials vet targets based on goal of zero civilian casualties. “When we agreed we were going to do air power and the military said, this is how it would work, Obama said, ‘No, I do not want any civilian casualties.’ And the response was, ‘But there are always some civilian casualties. We have the best capability in the world to protect civilians from casualties.’” Obama’s reply was, “No, you don’t understand. I want no civilian casualties. Zero,” Keane told media sources. “So that has driven our so-called rules of engagement to a degree we have never had in any previous air campaign.
Believe me, the French are in there not using the restrictions we have imposed on our pilots,” Keane said. “And the Russians don’t care at all about civilians.” Meanwhile, Obama said with continuing bravado, on Sunday, 22 Nov. 2015, that the USA -led coalition “will not relent” in the fight against ISIS and was confident the terror group would be defeated, insisting the world would not accept the extremists’ attacks on civilians in Paris and elsewhere as the “new normal.” (WND/Fox)
