CAN GOD'S HOLY ANGELS BE INJURED BY DEMONS??

Where Did This Come From? In the last 20 years Christendom has been invaded by doctrines about spiritual matters that have caused confusion and division in the body of Christ. However one of the key controversies emerged in 1988 with the publication of Frank E Peretti's novel, Piercing the Darkness. The book although fiction promoted a contemporary views on angels, demons, prayer and the spiritual realm. Piercing the Darkness won the ECPA Gold Medallion Book Award for best fiction in 1990. The book, along with its predecessor, This Present Darkness and a third novel novel called Prophet, was instrumental in promoting belief among Christians in the concept of Territorial Spirits. The idea of territorial spirits has its basis in Daniel 10 where the answers to Daniels prayers to heaven were being blocked by a Demon Prince that was in control of the kingdom of Persia. However Peretti's novel also had many incidences where the spiritual war between demons and Gods angels was a war in which the power and strength of Gods angels was influenced by the strength of the prayers of the community for which there was a struggle in the heavenlies to control. There are incidences in the novels where because of the lack of faith and commitment to God amongst the local town church congregation, that Gods angels actually ended up getting severely wounded and captured by the demons. You can imagine the controversy this caused when the book was released. Peretti's argument was that if it was as simple as Gods angels turning up and demons fleeing, then that could never be called a war or battle in the heavenlies as referred to in Revelation 12:7. So who is right and who is wrong and can taking a position on either side of the fence cloud ones view of spiritual warfare?
